About the PNLab

Happy New Year From the PNLab!

As we close the page on 2015, and welcome in the New Year, we want to take the opportunity to reflect back on the PNLab’s highlights over the past year and give you an idea of the things to come in 2016. Here are some of the highlights from 2015:

  • The PNLab blog was inaugurated in February 2015!

  • We moved to a great new lab space in Duggan House!

  • Many lab members have received awards and scholarships (e.g., William Dawson Scholar Award, McGill Osler Award, FRSQ Doctoral Research, Research Vision Network doctoral award, CERNEC student Excellence award, etc)

  • Members of the PNLab have attended many great conferences like IMFAR, CNS, VSS, CERNEC, NeuroDevNet and more!

  • We welcomed 2 great new members to the PNLab: Emma Clark & Alexia Ostrolenk!

  • Most importantly, the PNLab held it’s annual Holiday Lab Party in December 2015, where lab members got into the holiday spirit...

shared some delicious food…

and exchanged fantastic informercial gifts!

Some were more pleased than others…

Overall 2015 was a very successful and exciting year for the PNLab, and we can expect great things in the coming year. Events to stay tuned for include: the springtime conference season (IMFAR in Baltimore, Maryland; ART Winter Institute held in Banff, Alberta; VSS in St-Pete, Florida), participant recruitment beginning for new research projects, news on awards and fellowships, and lots more!

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
