PNLab members, Jacalyn Guy and Evelyn Marcil, recently attended the International Meeting for Autism Research (IMFAR) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jacalyn presented her work exmaning relationships between lower and higher-level social and non-social visual information processing in children with autism. Evelyn reported on her findings of gender differences in social and non-social perception in adults with autism. Following this, PNLab members, Jacalyn and Domenico, continued on to the Vision Sciences Society (VSS) conference in St. Petersburg, Florida. Domenico presented his findings on the effects of multiple object tracking on attention, while Jacalyn presented her systematic investigation of low, mid, and high-level visual perception in autism. These presentations provided an excellent opportunity to interact with many researchers in the field. PNLab members are seen here with colleagues from the Visual Psychophysics and Perception Laboratory from the University of Montreal.

Though there was much to enjoy at the conference, Domenico also took some time to enjoy the sun!!! He is certainly looking forward to next year’s meeting!
